Feb. Thaw

Yesterday showed some promise towards the March to Spring we are so eager for here at the farm. Although the pace is quick to change once March arrives, we are ready to get outside and smell the earth waking up. The renewal is evident in our much loved winter garden. We harrvested and ate the bounty of this garden by late December, but the kale shows promise with new growth.

And our new, little lamb made her way out of the barn this morning, with mom close by for protection. She has grown so much in the past few weeks and is quite a little bouncer.
The warm temps and sunny days of late have created great little skating ponds around the farm.
"Eat your vegetables!" These Hannaford cast-offs give the livestock good vitamins and a break from... "Hay for dinner, AGAIN?!"
