Easy on the Eyes

When we sit to dinner at our table with a group of family and friends, the tradition I love the most is when desert is served and each piece of pie travels all the way around of the table to  find its way to the person next to the server of the pie.

It is as if we are all blessing that pie as it passes through our hands.

In all reality, we just want to stop the cycle and keep the slice for ourselves....mouth watering pie, especially with ice cream.

But, patience serves us all a slice.

Wouldn't it be nice if all the world worked like this?

These shots are of some arrangements we put together for the Taproot Launch Party this past weekend.
If you haven't check out a copy yet, consider a subscription. It's easy on the eyes, for sure.

Our days find us elbow deep in potting mix in the greenhouse. We have a great new heating system to share with you all. Garny, as we affectionately refer to her, has been bathing our germinating trays with wood fired heat. The longer days push dinner back into the evening and the dark mornings have me still moving slower than I want to be. On the first of next month we will welcome our new crew. Tomorrow, I'm going to spruce up their cabins and the clubhouse in preparation for their arrival.

Enjoy the first of spring.

Blessings on the meal-
Stacy
