We're pleased to announce that the educational arm of Broaturn Farm has officially incorporated! The Long Barn Educational Initiative at Broadturn Farm is named after probably the most used and well loved structure on the farm- the barn where CSA members pick up their vegetable and flower shares, where we all enjoy catching up with John, Stacy, Emma, and Flora, and all of the other friends that we've made, where summer camp kids grab shovels and other tools to work in the 'digging hole' or in the field, where barn swallows swift through and make their home...
The Long Barn will encompass our Summer Camp Programming- the same great program that your children enjoyed last year, with Megan and Beatrice still leading the way, BUT STAY TUNED FOR:
- New programming, including 'Storytime on the Farm', Preschool, After School Enrichment, Family and Adult Workshops
- A new website (which will be linked from the Broadturn Farm website)
- Online payment options for summer camp and other programming
- Membership and donation options for our new non profit
